A Joint Statement from the FMU Innovation Center Mastermind Alliance
Today, the FMU Innovation Center Mastermind Alliance is proud to announce a significant milestone in a journey that has been more than a year in the making.
Working in close collaboration with President William “Bill” McCormick, the leadership of Florida Memorial University, faculty, staff, and industry partners, the Alliance has helped bring to life a bold vision for the Florida Memorial University Innovation Center—an initiative designed to prepare students for the rapidly evolving worlds of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Data Science, and emerging technologies.
The FMU Innovation Center is more than a collection of classrooms and laboratories. It is a living innovation ecosystem where education, industry, research, and technology converge to prepare students for the opportunities of tomorrow.
To realize this vision, four organizations united to form the FMU Innovation Center Mastermind Alliance—a strategic collaboration founded on the belief that the future of higher education is built through partnership, innovation, and a shared commitment to student success.
Together, the Alliance combines executive leadership, enterprise technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, workforce development, and educational excellence into a single innovation ecosystem.
As the lead technology partner, dōlogiic designed, developed, and now operates the Innovation Center’s integrated technology ecosystem through dōlogiic Cortex™, delivering a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that unifies learning management, virtual laboratories, cybersecurity simulation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, instructor engagement, gamification, workforce development, and student success into a single enterprise platform.
Key Focus Group (KFG) provided executive leadership and strategic program oversight, aligning the University’s vision with academic innovation, technology, workforce development, and industry partnerships. KFG established a student success framework that connected strategy, execution, and measurable outcomes, helping position the Innovation Center as a catalyst for student achievement, career readiness, and employer engagement.
NXT GEN Technologies provided the end-to-end design, procurement, deployment, configuration, and commissioning of the Innovation Center’s enterprise technology infrastructure. This included the data center, network infrastructure, classroom technology, collaboration platforms, and supporting hardware that collectively serve as the core technological foundation of the Innovation Center, enabling secure, scalable, and high-performance operations.
Tier4AI implemented the Innovation Center’s autonomous cybersecurity operations platform, delivering AI-driven threat detection, autonomous remediation, extended detection and response (XDR), and continuous cyber defense capabilities while providing students with exposure to next-generation security operations.

Together, the Alliance has launched two foundational environments:
Powered by the dōlogiic Cybersecurity Simulation Platform, providing immersive Cyber Range exercises, red and blue team operations, Capture-the-Flag competitions, firewall simulation, incident response, and experiential cybersecurity education aligned with industry and workforce standards.
Powered by dōlogiic Lab, delivering practical education in artificial intelligence, machine learning, secure software development, Python, data science, intelligent automation, and next-generation computing technologies.
Together, these environments support education, applied research, workforce development, faculty engagement, industry collaboration, executive education, and experiential learning through a single integrated innovation platform.
The Mastermind Alliance believes the future of higher education is built through collaboration—not competition.
We believe students deserve more than traditional classrooms. They deserve environments where they can explore, experiment, innovate, collaborate, solve real-world challenges, and graduate with the practical experience required to lead in an increasingly intelligent and connected world.
This milestone demonstrates what is possible when academia and industry unite around a common purpose. It reflects Florida Memorial University’s commitment to innovation, experiential learning, and workforce readiness, while demonstrating how strategic partnerships can accelerate transformational outcomes for students and the communities they will one day serve.
We extend our sincere appreciation to President William “Bill” McCormick, the Florida Memorial University Board of Trustees, the University’s leadership, faculty, staff, and everyone whose vision, trust, and collaboration made this achievement possible.
This is more than the opening of an Innovation Center. It is the beginning of a long-term partnership dedicated to advancing technology education, applied research, and innovation.
Together, we are building more than an Innovation Center. Together, we are building the future of technology education.
